The person Andre Burakovsky would most want to take out to dinner is Tom Wilson

The brobeans (minus one — *sob*) are at it again.

In the Capitals’ monthly playbook, BreakawayAndre Burakovsky answered 10 random questions about sports, teammates, and cars, and the answers are nothing short of entertaining. In no particular order, let’s first take a look at some of these responses.

breakaway

  • His first car was a BMW. His first car. Isn’t it a rite of passage that your first car needs to be gross and ugly and at least 10 years old? Or maybe that’s just me…
  • Brad Pitt could not play him in a movie. Brad Pitt is 52 years old. Yes, he looks good for his age, but no, he couldn’t pass as 21-year-old Andre Burakovsky, especially considering the Swede resembles an upperclassman in high school.
  • If Andre didn’t play hockey, he’d play soccer — but he’s not good at it. So, that’d be a short-lived professional career.
  • Can someone give me confirmation if Marcus Johansson is, in fact, the funniest teammate? Jason Chimera used to fill this role, but now that he was traded to the enemy, has MoJo taken his place?

Although those are good, solid answers, the second question was the one that stood out most.

Person you would most like to have dinner with:

Tom Wilson

Is that not the cutest thing you’ve ever read?

Burakovsky, Tom Wilson, and Michael Latta had been inseparable when all three had played for the Caps. They ate Swedish meatballs and pasta with ketchup together. They had a deal that if one of them scored a goal, that person had to buy the other two dinner. They had ping-pong tournaments. It was chaotic perfection.

Even though Latta was sent to the Los Angeles Kings, that hasn’t stopped Tom and Andre from continuing to enjoy each other’s company. The two friends have been seen messing around during practice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex, embodying the epitome of friendship goals.

They’re also hanging out off the ice as well, which isn’t unusual for the pair. On Monday, Burakovsky tweeted this:

He had dinner with the one person he most wanted to! The ex-roomies are now neighbors, which means the Swede will be having loads of meals with his favorite dinner date.

Burakovsky posted this on Instagram Sunday, with a chorus of awwws being faintly heard in the distance:

Had a great time at the red carpet with all the fans. Thanks for all the support last night. #caps

It’s nice to have a best friend, isn’t it, Andre?
